So I did a little experiment today. I randomly chose 9 gummies from a mat and weighed them. They were taken from different areas on the mat.
That’s a standard deviation of 22mg for a 3.1 gram / 3100mg gummy.

SOP…SOP
Differentiate you from the rest…
It’s not too hard to believe… did you know?
You can bring a kilo… to a GMP facility…to get it GMPed…lol…lol…lol
Labor costs homie!!
Workman’s comp isn’t getting cheaper any time soon.
Also space limitations.
These facilities aren’t getting larger any time soon, in fact I am having to basically stack product mfg equipment on top of one another.
I literally do not have extra 8’ tables to spare in many clients facilities.
I love a good debate…especially, when it can save me money…
BUT
LABOR COSTS, is where … Pour & scrape gets its greatest VALUE…
Sure, but how much space do you need?
Room for error?
What if one of the employees comes in stoned and doesn’t follow your SOP to the tee.
Happens daily in big facilities.
How will they explain that to management?
The same space you need to set your gummies…minus the footprint of your machine…
Do you care on elaborating?
How is my SOP more subjective to this than yours?
I would assume, mainly because I am a self proclaimed ass, that his mix is done by someone other than the operator of said machine. Millers done all in one take with one operator? He is allowing one to be coherent in his scenario out of two and your operation only allows for 0 people to be stoned. If that is the case, I want to be the stoned operator with zero responsibility instead of all the work and no getting stoned…continue on.
This is really interesting to see a debate without finger pointing and with real world experience. We would have probably gone with pour and scrape if we had another employee or two. Instead, we are going GMP and I got pulled from all production. We will make gummies in the not so distant future, in the mean time I appreciate the knowledge and entertainment.
My clients gummies don’t set on a table. ![]()

Were way past the old school tabletop method, more towards GMP methods.
Only the machine and controller stays on the table.
Along with other related mfg equipment.
You’re inefficiently using table space.
Period.
Boy, your argument is all over the place.
We have drying racks too. Not exactly sure whats so funny about that?
I thought thats exactly what we are talking about. “Is a desktop gummy machine”… NO?
Do you care to elaborate? Exactly how does scraping a silicone mold with a silicone spatula disqualify if from being GMP?
That be some new news to me… lol
I could perform our SOP within the footprint of your machine… If I had to… of course that would not make good sense… I mean, why would you fill 1 mold at a time when you can fill 3 of 4?
Your inefficiently using Labor and Materials.
Period.
LOL
So I have to ask… How much are you over paying to your landlord … and how much are you under paying your folks?
Because we pay A FUCK TON more in Labor vs Rent… as a mater of fact our rent is $12 a square foot a year and we pay a minimum of $20/hr to our folks…
How much do these machines cost? How long does it take to take apart and clean? And how often do they have to be fixed during use?
Anybody want to make a wager on what method is the fastest?
Ill donate your money to my favorite charity, when I take it…lol
I almost feel sorry for you.
I don’t pay rent.
I own my warehouse and any sites I consult for are all landlords too.
You sound desperate, I hope you find something to calm your soul lol.
Looking for more info…
Not sure how this site works but I’d like to talk to you about a Gummy Machine.
He’ll get notified of updates to this topic, but you can try tagging a user to get their attention. I’m sure @jimmytian8 would love to discuss the machine with you.
Thanks!
Just sent you specification and current lead time in DM.
