Someone I know has a Type 7 licensed facility in California and they are wondering if they are okay to use heptane denatured ethanol to extract due to their Type 7 status. Anyone had problems using this mix in the legal market?
Do you mean because of their Type 6 (non-volatile)? There is not enough heptane present to change the flammability class of the solvent, so unless your local Fire Marshall says no . . . It’s fine . . .
