Delta Separations CUP-15 Electrical Wire Diagram

Hello wonderful Future4200 community,

I have a delta cup-15 system that I’m getting installed into my new facility and the electrician is having a difficult time with the unit. It keeps throwing out an e-stop message saying the lid is open, but does not appear to have any sensor on the lid itself. Does anyone have a wire line diagram of the cup-15 system showing how all the connections should trace out? Does anyone have the facilities guide or wire diagram available for reference they’d be willing to share with me? I’ve searched on the site a fair bit, but was unable to find anything specific to my issue. I appreciate any assistance.

You’re correct.
No lid sensor on those.

Never seen the wiring diagram.

Have you tried the “reset” button on the HMI?

I have a vague recollection of the e-stop “latching”, and having to explicitly tell the thing that the emergency was over.

What @cyclopath said

Also, idk what level of experience your electrician is, but in my experience most residential guys are really lost when you start getting into 3 phase systems and industrial automation.

Posting your location might help you find someone like myself who is experienced with control system/PLC electrical and VFD issues

I’ve tried the reset button on the HMI. I recall having to do the same with other units in the past to clear the fault. No success with this one though.

Just to clearly confirm: you pulled the emergency stop button outward and do not currently have it pressed in? (Sorry if this is redundant but it was not clear to me as what is “tried”)

My cup needs a full power cycle to clear the code, just pulling out the E-stop while the unit is running will not clear it. The e-stop must be manually reset and then power cycle for my dirty30.

No problem. You’re correct. Both e-stops, the one on the HMI panel and the one on the power box outside my booth, have been reset manually and out in their out position as well as hitting the reset button on the HMI to no success. That’s the exact message I’m getting on the screen though.

Then “ there is a broken connection the e-stop circuit” is the most parsimonious explanation
