how is the market for Delta 8 flower and distillate in Michigan? big demand? thanks
This company seems to be doing fine.
Till something is done about it all being hot.
Oh wait lol. Michigan. Gonna be cool to watch that battle go down.
D8 in a dispensary removed from a hemp store near you
I’ve thought about it, but I ain’t the taddlin’ type, lol.
Lol no need. The Hemp industry players are eating themselves.
Maybe that’s where the term “me-meat” comes from.
Perfectly makes sense.
Why is the sentiment that all d8 is hot still the insult? Is it hot? How can you say it’s hot there’s a lot of stuff clean and 95% teams watched the forum work together to get it clean and now you doubt companies with Money to lose didn’t pick up the right tek?
There was a big thing here with a trophy because some of the best in the business were not able to make compliant D8. So it’s extremely likely that a vast majority of the D8 on the market is not D9 compliant.
I don’t know that it’s necessarily an insult as opposed to just an unfortunate fact.
Looks to me like the legislature is going to put this under the control of the MRA. There is already a process for synthetics being made from products as R&D in the METRC market. So there is space there - but none have been approved for commercial sale yet that I have seen.
Seems like they might be going the way of CA and lumping all the THC-like stuff into the bucket. But one never knows.
even then the team that took the trophy has apparently disappeared? I have heard that they don’t respond to purchase inquiries. I’m guessing their process wasn’t scalable
imagine doping all that just to get some trophy lol
And it has my name on it.
Lmao d8 is dead, got offered 100L+ at 450 a L in LA, water clear too
It’s a good thing tho, cause it’s a solid medicinal cannabinoid when clean, it should be easily accessible. However theres tons of garbage out there these days, as the price falls labs will cut corners to increase margins, and at this current junction, it is unprofitable to utilize conventional prep chromatography to remove impurities/d9 from the material.
D8 is in its death spiral, the market will bottom out, itll get banned and then the “bathtub” d8 from the traditional market will be the only stuff available.
Makes me sad because I’ve seen first hand d8 help a ton of people.
Indeed, I’ve spent the past few months doing heavy research for starting up my own distribution company for delta 8 products in Texas, but between the crashing prices and the uncertainty of legislation in a year and a half, and all of the competition from black market bootleg sellers that nothing seems to be done about, I had to decided it wasn’t worth putting 10s of thousands and a year of work into something that can have the rug pulled out from under me. I’m not too convinced personally that most D8 is hot as others claim, those other reasons alone are enough to put me off into investment into D8.
Of course, I always knew hemp prices would crash, they had to and if D9 ever gets legalized expect the price of Liters to go from ~3k down to 350 or even less, because remember, without the restrictions and regulations D9 is actually cheaper to produce than D8.
Legal weed means no market, no money opportunity, hence why we’ll never have fully legal. Half the people here only make money because the government gets rid of their competition, not to bash users as virtually everyone here supports legalization but it’s a sad reality of the industry.
Where can I locate a couple liters of coa’d D8 in Michigan? What are they running? I have a family member wanting to make some type of cream/salve.
