Decarbing cured resin mistake

So, I was setting up 30g’s of cured resin (PB breath x Strawberry Pinecone) to decarb for around 7 and a half hours. But made a mistake of having my temp gauge not in the correct position and it changed my plates temperature to 250+ Celsius for at least a minute or two. I saw smoke thin wisps of smoke escaping before I realized my mistake. The question is does anyone know the problems this could cause with: Taste, liquidity, and high? I’ll figure out in 7 hours regardless but I’m antsy at the feeling of having ruined what was potentially a perfectly good batch on a simple novice mistake.

Am I correct to understand this as decarbing squish in your press?

I’m guessing it will taste like someone tried smoking it already…

If you’re lucky it will taste more like they tried a low temp dab. Cold start even.

Worst case it was the magic smoke escaping from your heaters…

Your boof will now almost certainly taste like boof

Yes, there is a almost 100% chance the extract will be converted to delta 15 thc.

Could even jump up to delta 30 depending on the flavonoids involved

so this is how they make 11-hydroxy
