Might be a dumb question, but is there an ideal vac depth to hover around for decarb?
Well depends
At what temp planning to Decarb
B cant go deep cause iT Will muffin
C main thing is Keeping iT from oxigen so best would be place in oven without heat
Pull full vac
Blanket with Nitrogen till 5000 microns
And then raise temp
Something in that area is fine
Only reason for vac is oxigen presens and coltrolable stank 
Like exaust in a Bucket with dawn

you could also have figured it out yourself with a just little effort…

@Roguelab has given you the gist of it, but chances are reading through a handful of the hits from the above search will improve your understanding of his answer.
It is not unreasonable to assume that someone has asked almost any question you might have.
Investigating that possibility BEFORE asking will get you a) better answers & b) better questions.
So it is highly recommended…

I must admit i have not posted on here a lot, so iam not suprised i messed that up. but i did read the threads on here about decarbing and got pretty much what i needed and unless i missed it, which i could of, i didnt see a specific vac depth. Figured it was worth asking. But i did it anyways and didnt have a problem. Thanks for the response though.

“Cannabusiness” is the default category. So lots of stuff gets dropped there unintentionally.
Only pointing it out because not letting you know doesn’t do anyone much good.
“I read the threads on decarbing under vacuum, but didn’t see any specific depth to aim for…” (eg) would be an example of an improved question.
My recollection is that “it’s about lack of O2” has been explicitly stated in both Decarboxylation under Vacuum? - #36 by BR-Instrument & Decarb under pressure to retain terps? but I’m terrible with references, so those might not be the correct threads…

I go full vac in rhe roto, but it wont stay there once it really gets hot as i see it going back to fjll vac i know im about done and then there are less and less bubbles.
