That is not what I said- I said I have seen many hot samples from labs that also report ND D9, indicating that they aren’t just giving away compliant COAs- which is a rather hefty accusation to be making. The assumption is that they are wrong and KCA labs is right, but we don’t actually know what that mystery peak is, and many times when it lands in the retention window of D9, it is reported as D9. Does that mean the unstable peak that shifts back and forth is an unknown or does it mean the reaction was not completed? That’s rhetorical, I don’t want to debate that yet again. Of course I’m all for accurate data reporting, safety, etc but the daily mudslinging is getting old- that is my point. I think the R & D efforts of analytical labs should be focused on figuring out what those isomers/unknowns are, and that we should be figuring out a method for purification, like a legit chroma method for separation, etc because that is the principle this community was founded on- growing, development, and a collective effort to improve as an industry so that the consumers have the highest quality product. That is not really the focus of the D8 mega threads, and that is my issue. I am not trying to discredit you, and I know that you are doing good work. I am simply saying can we stop repeating the same stuff (as a whole not just you or anyone specific) about the other labs and all the other negative shit that is constantly on repeat around here- and instead focus on finding a way to improve the product? I’m looking for something else from this community and D8 is an area that there is a deficit in. I know my tone is shitty af on this, I think I just reached a threshold last night lol and my opinion isn’t all that important. I’m just one guy, but I just feel like we’re losing sight of what this place is about. Let’s fix it, not piss and moan about what the people we don’t like are doing.
