I’ve been lurking here a while, and I’ve become confused about the nomenclature people use for some of the minor cannabinoids and I wanted to hear some thoughts. We have seen many samples with what we believe is 8,9-dihydroxy-delta6a(10a)THC. I also hear a lot of people taking about delta10THC. Are people actually making delta10THC, or is the reference really to the delta6a/10a THC? If so, is it in the same degradation path? Attached image shows what I think we are seeing (VIII, possibly V).
In addition, if you were to shorten 8,9-dihydroxy-delta6a(10a)THC, how would you refer to it? dihydroxy THC? Delta6aTHC? Delta6THC? Just curious what people are settling on for “unofficial” names for some of these cannabinoids that are popping more regularly as people are starting to do crazy distillation things…
