Cured diamond run issues

Been having issues as of lately with my
Thca crashing far before I want it to. Immediately out of the machine almost regardless of the saturation I start crashing and having a puck forming overnight. Used to have no issues with growing monos from cured material. Doesn’t seem to be material dependant. Clean collection pot, clean pour spout.

Could moisture in the gas cause premature nucleation?

I have heard moisture can cause sugaring. So yes, imo that makes sense! Could be wrong though, I’m no scientist.

Any changes in media?

Media is the same, all baked
We don’t run chilled columns so I worry about picking up moisture

With an unchilled column are you just blasting straight through?

I would worry about it with any serious soak time, but imo a lot of people don’t chill their columns and are running straight through and not having moisture issues.

Sieve beads being regenerated often?

Any chance there’s fines making it through? Those would be nucleation points…

u don’t have enough solvent when u seal the jar…mic drop

Tiny amounts more will cause it to off gass to certain point then slow down drastically

If I would have capped the jar at that point in the video the lid would have blown off lol… and it was already crashing

Could be! We’re only down to 1um

W 8oz mason jar wide mouth your not gonna blow the lid off.w oil solvent mixture just don’t add heat…if its really thin w no heat u have a lot solvent or tons terps

What media do y’all run?

If ur filters are down right ur not getting media through but I’m not there to watch u make them and place them

Just b80 and silica 60

Try 0.5 micron or below with b80.

Im learning. But I want to make diamonds off my current material. Why is it a problem for then to crash early? Im not running crc because its fresh and not tainted.

Crashing early usually leads to small sugar size pieces…he wants to grow larger singular stones

After watching ur video that’s still to much solvent reduce some more to slow moving bubles…formations can form during this they will continue to grow. Remember stones grow due to the evaporation of solvent… thats why ur getting seed stones during reduceing…Cap the jar at the right point and wait 2 to.3 week. If ur alow growing them they shouldn’t change to much over nighr…I like no heat and a lil more solvent for singular stones. It also let’s the terp layer form around the stones making them just pour out as large facets
