cannarado puts out good gear.
Hell yeah man, the smoke is by far the best out of everything I have grown to date. Just puts your mind in the right place.
a couple years ago glo seed bank was selling cannarado for 40 a pack plus freebies- i shouldve gotten more. my gary payton is also easily bleached on the tops/ its prolly a good thing for commercial croppers. i needs less light and still frows solid buds down to the base. I still have a few sundae crosses in seed packs but the ones i tried were all dank so far and i shouldve gotten more packs…
What is crop steering?
What Is The Generative Growth Stage?
Crop steering basically is controlled by your irrigation schedule/dry backs.
You can steer the plant generative or vegative. Vegative will focus on growing leaf/ stalk matter.
Generative steering will focus on growing flowers. I’ve noticed this run that it by far the least amount of leaves I’ve had in my flowers and I think it’s to do with the irrigation strategy.
I only defoliated these at day 14 and day 35 and didn’t strip them and only took the big fans, the wife went back over them around day 45 and basically there barely any leaves that needed to be removed, maybe I’m wrong but that’s my theory.
Biscotti sundae day 53, I’m cutting her in the morning, it feels so rewarding looking at these plants after the time I’ve put into them. I have a 72sq ft flower canopy and 32 sq ft veg, on average I spend 4 hours a day in my grow, I’ve given up my entire life to make this work. I sold my old business so no going back now. Hopefully by April I’ll be growing in my micro, it will have 2x56 hps light rooms.
Can’t we to see the micro’s progress.
Looks amazing. Congrats
My hvac equipment is supposed to arrive the end of March, starting the beginning of January we are going to continue the renovations now I got the rest of the funds lined up, I’ll for sure be posting pictures.
whats the crop steering thing? arent you just growing weed? Weve always steered weed to try and be dank nugs. the dryback thing isnt a big deal. depending on media you can dry it or keep it soaked. your garden is nice but you can fit more nugs at the top by tying down more and earlier.
I’ll explain it the best I can, your right with crop steering your just adjusting your dry backs. But that being said during stretch I’m looking for a 25-30%dry back overnight and 5% during the day.
During bulk I was doing 15% overnight dry back with 3% during the day.
So you can come up with somewhat of a guess without the sensors but try to tell the difference in between 15 and 25% dry back or the difference in between 3-6% it’s not possible.
The only thing I changed this run was my irrigation schedule.
I agree with you @thumper that the canopy could for sure be fuller but I’m still expecting 65g per sq ft, so next time we are going to try for 75.
I’ve had a battle with PM , the last time these plants got sprayed was day 10 of flower and it was agt50, power si and regalia . I have not had a single spot of PM this entire run and I ran higher humidity then I’ve ever ran. Comes down to what @emdub27 preached keep your plants happy and they can fight that stuff off. And I think keeping your irrigation schedule in check is a big part of it.
how many months do i need before croping cannabis?
3 months
how long did you veg. 4 lbs in a 4x8 tent is a good number. I know you arent in a tent but I am and extrapolated your grams per sq feet.
@thumper I vegged them for 19 days. This time I topped them so I’m still going to run 19 days but hopefully they’ll be bit bushier.
Here’s my next run waiting to get into flower this weekend. These are at day 14 in 4x4x4 rockwool. I realized last run I was letting them dry down way to much, they are rooting better being more wet.

I got my new dehum installed finally, I got the quest 165 if they perform like advertised they are only 860w. 25$ total cost for the threaded rod and bolts to hang it.
That’s a great strategy mate. That way plants can spread freely and grow bigger
I got my room harvested cleaned and filled back up. I vegged in my flower room for 3 days then I flipped. I’m happy with the turn around, there was only 5 days my room wasn’t in flower.
Here we are at lights out tonight, I’m running 79° 62% humidity. This run I’m going more aggressive with my dry back during the first 21 days. Last run they were only hitting 20-25%max p3 dry back and this run they are all 25-30% so I’m hoping that will help with stretch. With the bigger dry backs and a bit less run off I’m running a bit lower ec then last time at 2.7.
I’m going more heavy on the power si and kelp this run so we’ll see what that does. My last run they were un topped and this time I topped them once at day 5 of veg.
I’ve got way more tops this time and a much fuller canopy, I’ve been trimming my last run and the yield is going to be lower then I hoped for but it’s by far the best quality flower I’ve grown to date.
Here’s tonight at lights out after a foliar.
Biscotti sundae, 11.6g in between them two tops. Even the bottoms were nice.
You sir are a VERY talented human being. I would highly appreciate it if you keep inspiring me and others on this forum.
ill keep my eye out looking for a used one. I already runfans so itll work nice vs my older dehumidifier. I doubt the claims of most efficient, then why would they market it to weed instead of other markets?
i have a giant dehumidifier but technology has improved and efficiency too. I cant afford my eectric bill running a duhumidifier and ac at the same time. my bill is so high i can rent a place in the country and grow outdoors for the price of electricity.
I think that’s because most people don’t want to spend big money on a dehum for their basement.
I was skeptical about the efficiency of the quest too, but it’s for sure puts out less heat then my anden 130.
Now I got them both hooked up so even tonight I did a foliar at lights off with no humidity spike, they are just in different controllers.
I run the quest during the day and the anden at night to help heat the room, and now I’ll have a back up.
