Nah, that CXE was a blocking patent. Why do something at atmospheric pressure when you have high pressure vessels? Still sticking with the scco2 method.

Great reputation with whom? If it runs on an air compressor, then its not meant for a regulated lab IMO. Everyone uses electric motor driven pumps and I’m pretty sure everyone is recycling CO2 these days. Otherwise, you are schlepping bottles around.
