crc crude

What did you dissolve your sample in for testing? My understanding is to test some ethanol for a base reading, dissolve some concentrate probably 1:1 for easy math and test again to see what changed.

Edit: Great minds… lol

So I use a 8 inch filter base about 10 inch tall
Celite cover (top)
Carbon thin layer
Silica 1cm layer max
Aa 2inch layer
B80 majority of the volume 4-5 inch layer
Celite 2 inch base filter powder (bottom)

Pictured is kind of what it looks like although not the actual powders listed pictured

Ok will try that thanks fam

You can do the same etho test with each powder on there own
And find there ph
B80 is guaranteed around 7.2
So that makes a nice neutral base line

The only powder you’ve mentioned that might affect pH would likely be the carbon, but that depends on your source of carbon, maybe Aa, but I don’t think so.

Have you had that end product tested to verify there wasn’t isomerization or degradation?

its on my priority list to get it tested whenever I get the ok. re tested the disty in eth and its neutral

Maybe something in your distillation parameters?

What kind of CRC are you using?

I’m looking to buy some CRC crude material. Anyone know what the cost per gram with taxes would be in California?
