i hesitate to say i’m an expert on this subject (my company has a team devoted to METRC’s nuances exclusively) but if the combination you speak of reflects the actual reality of the steps performed on the material represented by these packages, you should be fine. And i think you’re talking about two viable ways to skin a cat here–that being said, you might be adding an unnecessary step by combining before processing, where they could be combined after processing into one new package, then continuing to extraction as one, easy to use package.
or, you could combine them all now, send them into processing as one package, where it’s one easy to handle package for your people to use down the rest of the line. the advantage there would be ease of use for whoever’s doing the Metrc work down the line.
i think both will work, but again so long as it reflects the reality of which step the material was combined in, etc. you’ll be good i think. best of luck!
