Cold cure vs fresh pressed for vape carts

Hi,

Im wondering if anyone has done any side by side on live rosin fresh pressed and cold cure for vape carts, is there any preference for live rosin carts?

Although it would depend on other parts of your process I don’t see a benefit, if done correctly, to use anything other than fresh press? If you are going to decarboxylate it anyways I’d say you’re capturing the most volatiles going straight into a jar from the press and then decarbing. Then again One of the benefits of cold cure is the homogenization of the terpenes which would be important in carts. So if you do the fresh press as long as you give it a good stir after it’s cooled back down to room temperature you should be all right in that regard.

Maybe someone smarter than me will disagree.

Fresh press sounds like the way to go on paper. I’ve only ever used cured though, because fresh press is tough to weigh out/work with
