Likely your wand is too deep. Try submerging just the tip of the wand till the milk gets to ~80f, then tilt the pitcher and angle it slightly allowing the steam to whirlpool the milk, creating a more uniform dispersion of the micro bubbles that makeup your foam.
I believe the screaming is caused by cavitation of the steam bubbles ringing off the pitcher, the cavitation a result of too much head pressure from the milk due to the steam injection too far under the surface

Been using this one since 2020. I started with a glass kona one and it ended up cracking but the flavor profile is slightly better in a stainless. I feel like glass really does harness the taste after a while. Like there’s leeching with glass over time or there’s like no full way to clean the coffee grease off the glass. I <3 stainless with rverh fiber of my being when it comes to anything extraction based.
Like someone else here said: stainless is tinker toys for big boys😜

And how I make cold brew is interesting but it works well. I use cold filtered tap water triple filtered by a 3-stage RV filter (that I keep up with on maintenance because I ditched bottled water). I grind the beans meant for cold brew, I use this stuff

And i grind it to coarse for the French Press. I put the grinds in the stainless carafe and I fill my kettle with filtered tap water as cold as I can possibly get it and pour it over the grinds, then leave the carafe in the fridge for 24 hours and then pour into the French Press then clean out the carafe. Then set up the v60 over the carafe and filter the French Press cold brew…

Bold of you to assume I’ve not already done this. Coffee is not terpenes but there is actually a good amount of overlap with cannabis on a lot of the stronger flavor/aroma compounds.
The loudest coffee beans are definitely going to be the ones packing pyrazines. Pyrazines are some of the strongest smelling chemicals in flavor/fragrance and range from smelling like green peppers to straight-up peanut butter. A lot of nutty, roasted and chocolaty notes come from an assortment of pyrazines. Furans dominate a lot of the sweeter, caramelized notes. Smoky usually comes from the same phenolic compounds (guaiacol derivatives) that are found in vanilla extract. I keep a small diluted sample of well, all of them. So next time I come down to Asheville in April we could make some unnaturally loud coffee if you want. I’ve been superterping cheap coffee for years.

Nederland, CO - We hit the skatepark/legal wall out there a few years ago then got suckered into a shop with 5ft tall tubes of candy with those sitting next to it. So-so skatepark, amazing town. It’s even got a little matching sugar spoon that’s god knows where haha
