White Coffee is coffee roasted half of the way through and to a lower temperature. By roasting it to this much lower temperature, you get a whitish colored bean that is higher in caffeine because you roast out less caffeine. This results in a very nutty and sweet taste profile much different from traditional coffee .

By contrast, a blond roast is around 420 degrees,

Grind your beans for 1min - measure for cups

Get water to 180f

Use your French press

Let it sit for 1min

Press gently and smoothly

Then filter through a pour over with 4 filters

 That’s the result

I just use a pot and my coffee filter holder now. Set that on top a mason jar and whatever is left I put a lid on and toss in the fridge

No but seriously some people do love that - not everyone needs it hooked to their veins like I do

I used two #4 cone filters instead of the mini perforated screw filter that came with my stainless Stanley pour over. I made myself a double shot of espresso and then poured up some pour over on to the espresso.

Look at this beautiful coffee reflection off the espresso foam.

4 Shots of Espresso

how you make your foam homie?

I brew my espresso from the machine straight into this Amazon.com

I wait 30 seconds

Then I slow pour the coffee from the foam and then the foam plops out of the cup from shaking it gently in a downwards motion and whatever foam is left in the little cup thingie, I scrape it to the middle and place it on top of the rest of the foam. :relaxed:

That picture is not frothed with the frother.

Preheating the espresso machine is a must. Using coffee that’s roasted from the state closest to you will up your game too because they don’t let their coffee sit in a lot.

This breville barista express pours shots comparable to a commercial machine.
I have a subscription with a local coffee roaster, and there isn’t a coffee shop in this state that that can make a better cappy, most can’t even make a traditional one.
