Cls scale freezes

I just got a solvent scale (always lifted the tank and guessed how full it was) but it says it only works at 33 degrees. Can I still leave it under the 50 pound recovery tank in a dry ice tote? Or do I need to move it out of the tote and unhook all the hoses to weigh it? Thx

So you have it in a bin at the bottom, with the tank sitting on it and filled with dry ice? If I’m understanding.

I’ve never seen a solvent scale used inside said bin or cooling reservoir. I would think that not only is it too cold, but the dry ice sitting in there would in one way or another affect the weight it’s reading? Assuming the dry is is probably sitting on the scale a little bit or even adding weight to the solvent tank if there’s some on top?

This is coming from one of the lesser educated people here. Just my two cents

Once ur at temp pull it out, wipe it off and set it on the scale, you don’t want dry ice in for the weight w sublimation and all
