That’s when I react quick closing nitrogen and dip tube valves opening external vent line valve on the solvent tank bringing chaos back into order.
Or if need be employ the fire safety plan and triage as it’s presented.

As @Darrenjaydirect mentioned, one big tank would be better, a bigger recovery pot…
But I think just working on making that system a little better, you could recover faster without having to add too many things!
A shelf…or even better, a longer hose.
Rack mounting like you said…
I personally would want the crc seperate with ball valves on top and bottom, but that’s just a thought

Ill be back in PDX this coming week and will get you hooked up with a custom rack and a chiller, i have some lab cabinets and counters you can swipe too.

Risk and chaos management is something you can only do prior to an event, by preventing it from ever happening in the first place.

I have the valves and reducers to have crc separate. The thought of the interface between the crc and the material being back to back and 6” seems preferable over going through a reducer, valve then opening back up to the crc. What is the logic of having crc separate with valves on either end. I’ve read about it on here, was enough to direct me to order the parts to be able to do that, but haven’t realized the tid bit of logic to have me a believer. But once rack mounted, it was the plan to separate it, regardless. Also about wet packing crc, is it as simple as using something like heptane to make a slurry then vac it down on some ashless paper?

That’s some solid shit, right there. I hear you and think the same things. I’m in Canada though. Perhaps shipping but the chiller maybe a thing to ship? If we set up an arrangement we’d probably pay upfront or half and half.

Each one of the columns holds about 10lb. 6in x 48in

we’ve seen a number of suspended systems here, but that is the first one that was also mobile.

Yes i have a 4 point lift system on a 2 ton gauntry for speedy reload :grinning:

yeah, I really appreciated working in a lab with one of those in its arsenal. really useful critters. Never seen one dedicated to this duty.

I made all lifting parta compatable for 2 ton. The rack loaded close to 1000lb. Works great had to counter balance cause of the crc.
Headroom is big factor for what type of lift system to implement.
I almost ordered a electric pallet lift

I made a support rack in 1/4 in steel to support the weight. The 4 point lift was made by machinist friend.
