I recently bought a X1000D homogenizer with the g20-viscous shaft. I hear you have to clean and lubricate after each use. How do you guys clean your shaft and with what/what do you use to lubricate?
I wipe it down to get excess off. Then fill a beaker with iso, put the probe in and let run for 5 mins. I wipe one more time for good measure.
Is your shaft sealed or unsealed?
You have to disassemble it. Everything on the bottom gets cleaned as per your manual. Sub out the silicone grease with c8 caparyllic acid
