This made me LOL on my morning facebook scroll. Someone is suing because of all the lemon and lime in their citrus bubblies!
"PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A class action lawsuit has been filed against the parent company of the popular drink LaCroix’s for apparently falsely claiming the drink to be “100% natural.”
“The plaintiff Rice, desiring a healthy, natural beverage, was led to purchase LaCroix sparkling water because of the claims made on its packaging, advertising and web site to be “innocent,” “naturally essenced,” “all natural,” and “always 100% natural.” However, LaCroix in fact contains ingredients that have been identified by the Food and Drug Administration as synthetic. These chemicals include limonene, which can cause kidney toxicity and tumors; linalool propionate, which is used to treat cancer; and linalool, which is used in cockroach insecticide,” the lawsuit states.
What do you think?
I’m smoking unflavored distillate for 30 days if they win…
Well… to some degree I can understand if they’re lab synthing terpenes for their drinks and claim to be “natural” then it’s agreeably false advertising. However, the term “natural” is pretty broad.
One would assume natural means derived from nature.
I like how people associate the words “all natural”
with some precieved health benifits. You don’t see any class action lawsuits against lemon trees or lavender plants do you?
cyinide=100% natural
ricin=100% natural
arsenic=100% natural
I didn’t participate before, but, I’m a sure as can be that filtered mountain spring water is going to have the most “health benefits” of anything you can drink on the planet.
Organic terps vs non organic terps bra da real terps mo betta no evan like no what none organic terp like fo do to you!! F u up! Is what!
