CIP Chemical - Keylajet?

How do y’all clean your stuff?

Alconox has been recommended in the past.

They recommend Detonox for manual and Keylajet for CIP/ultrasonic/automated cleaning stuff.

And where do you buy it? Unfortunately, while McMaster sells regular alconox/liquinox cheaper than anywhere else I’ve found, they don’t sell Detonox or Keylajet.

These look like the cheapest Keylajet drums I could find.

Does anyone have any better/cheaper options? I’d love to not toss $300 of Keylajet down the drain with every terminal clean.

I can not speak to how affordable it will be for you as I know you are running a large system, but we use Keylajet for CIP and it works very well @ 1-3%.

We bought ours directly from Alxonox, so you certainty found a better deal than we did.

it will etch your stainless tho

I use Keylajet. It was the only detergent I found that worked well. It works best if used at temperatures higher than 160F, more like 180F. It would be favorably used in a process already set up for heat-sanitization.

FYI Mcmaster now sells Keylajet in 5 gallon totes.
