How much to run samples of 5 tins of the same lot of defective nicotine pouches? I want to know how much nicotine is loose in this package or what % nicotine per intended unit size is loose. Going to buy every lot I can find of it for testing since Velo’s Indian customer service was so rude and predatory.
Can you find a non defective batch and get an average weight of each pouch? That would enable you to compare the average weight of each pouch in the defective batches to the non defective. Then by weighing the remaining powder, it should put you in the ballpark of per pack losses.
What’s the total package like a 4mg 20pack (80mg) so if 4 pouches rip and spill on everything your avg dosage went up to 5mg per pouch guesstimating (If everything is accurately dosed)
I don’t think it would be like hitting a hotspot of a badly homogenized/formukated product.
Not my angle or point. Just seeing if there’s anyone here that’d want to run the samples before I contact local labs.
If you DM me I might give you a hint lol
I’ve already done this just out of curiosity, flavor to flavor has varied somewhat significantly in weight on my mcg scales. Haven’t tried lot to lot of same flavor yet, but from experience I’ve definitely noticed at least differences in volume within the same flavors over the years. Some may be due to storage conditions and moisture. Some is probably being produced overseas or in different facilities since they blew up quick. But this isn’t really what I’m angling for.
Guess we’ll see what results I get back on the amount of loose nicotine on average in this lot. I’ll be buying a lot more Velo products to see how uncommon or common this type of defect is.
Fruit flavors and scents are obviously more attractive to a baby than mints.
There’s multiple layers to what I’m trying to do here.
I’m currently preparing something against my county for spraying the roadsides with glyphosate. Lots of paperwork and records required to do that legally and i bet they dont have half the required records.
