Chlorpyrifos remediation from CBD crude

I have 19L’s of Crude that tested hot for chlorpyrifos. I believe it is a pesticed used when growing apples and Christmas trees. I want to make tinctures out of this crude but I don’t believe it is safe or ethical to do so with chlorpyrifos in it. Any help or advice would be dope. Thanks!

This is a tough one because chlorpyrifos are not water soluble. I did some reading and it said that they are white crystals, much like CBD, and they have a boiling point of 160C. CBD boils at around 180C so maybe if you mess around with distillation parameters you could get the pestacide to come off and leave behind your CBD? Honestly it seems like a real pickle you have found yourself in, but if you don’t think you can safely remediate I would not mix this disty into a tincture.

Thanks! I’ll let you know if that is the route we go and my results!

Good luck homie.
