I will stand by my statement that this piece of AI kit makes alot of jobs easier especially generating a whole salad bar worth of word salad regardless of what the “experts” say

Foe technical things that require very specific answers it will still flesh out the structure and do 99% of the labor and allow you to merely change a couple things to make it just as good as doing it from scratch yourself

Are you using stable diffusion for these pictures? I havent seen this format before.

Pretty sure it’s the “paid version” of the overall package that the ChatGPT developer puts out

Ok Ill have to check it out. Ive been trying to get stable diffusion to run on my laptop but the gpu cant hold up

@Future i have an API key and they do have my payment info, but I haven’t gotten close to enough bandwidth for them to charge me. I haven’t looked in a while but for each request I send out , it’s nearly negligible.

I pasted the Python script that I’m calling to generate the poem and picture earlier in the thread. Then I tossed together html/php to make a front end that loads the responses from the script onto a page. I’ll put all the files on GitHub later when I’m not mobile.

To answer the question though, I’m literally passing a string into the open AI image generator and that’s it. The string I’m passing is the poem you see on the left, which I get back by asking for a haiku from the title you see at the top.

@ThatHempGuy

There’s no heavy lifting when you use their API, but that’s why they’ll charge you if you use a lot of their compute bandwidth.

This is the code I’m using (minus my api key) to generate the poems and images I’ve been posting.

How could I forget?

Microsoft Office Suite…

Microsoft is adding OpenAI writing tech to Office.

Apple, Google definitely gonna feel this shift and fast.

It looks like Ray Kurzweil is associated with openAI and he’s the director of AI research at google, or still is as far as I can find.

I would place my bets that the cutting edge of NLP is going to be where Kurzweil is.

Imagine Cortana / Google Assistant / Amazon Alexa with this ability

Literally speaking commands and having written finished products / services

Headsup display devices, implants and AI / cyborg integrations seem ever so close.

Now this is nice.

@sidco @sidco_cat

Time to upgrade the forum Ai!

We can make an AskBot upgrade from hell.

Hi! To find out what I can do, say @knowledgeseth display help.

With an AI to tell people to use the f&$#ing search bar you’d be out of a job :disappointed_relieved:
