Hello Im interested in your spray gun. Any issues with it? Why are you selling?
The industry is finished dude, everyone is cashing out and leaving
It’s not finished, it’s just clocking in and paying taxes is all.
Professional glow-up, don’t be left behind!
You realy think so ?
I mean people still smoke right
I still have hope to make a living in the scene
Well we will see
They are clocking in for $17 an hour. Its over my woadie
Not me my friend
Show value, be valued. If you have and you’re not valued, move on instead of validating the compensation. Remember, the big guys are folding because they cant retain talent, and the corpos don’t actually know how to operate or cultivate. There are smaller, or newer MSOs that are a bit wiser, there are states just legalizing, there are hemp operations, there are (admittedly few) micro licenses around on the east coast at least. If you don’t like the grass you’re grazing on, moo’ve on.
If all you can do is regurgitate something you read in some forum, sans critical thinking, then ya, you’ll be pulling less than $20 an hour.
What state are you in? Somewhere that hasn’t been rec for long I’m guessing? As these markets mature and get closer to an equilibrium, extractors and growers get a smaller slice of the pie. That’s the trend at least.
Edit I’m glad that path is going well for you. I just think the outlook as an employee is grim for most
No there’s no issues with it. I’ve closed down my business and have no use for it. I’ve only used it a few times and it’s in excellent condition
I dont work for a living, my job is to analyze the entire cannabis market and react, so I have a different picture than someone in a single Company. Its over across the board. If success was based on cultivation skill and paying nerds, many more companies would have survived. The people surviving right now have healthy margins and powerful marketing. Thats it
I wonder what causes healthy margins? Hmmm…
Regardless, it’s clearly a fruitless discourse we’re carrying on with Mr. I don’t work for a living but my job is X, enjoy your weekend!
Interested in this is it still available and would you ship it?
Yes it’s still available. How would we go about shipping it? I don’t wanna get burned on it and I’m sure you don’t either
Of course not how much do you want for it? Can we chat ? Where are you located ?
My bad, I don’t clock in for a living
Healthy margins come from not buying expensive equipment you don’t need, sticking to one niche and not expanding, no corruption and having organized books.
Im saying its over because there has been double digit increases in “its over indicators”
People attempting credit card fraud
People that were huge believers in expensive equipment buying cheaper equipment
People looking for work
People popping up in other industries
Before when people complained “its over” id chuckle and move on. But now I see the writing on the wall
There is still a little cash in cannabis but some businesses are really behind times.
I think Covid really showed weaknesses in some of the business models. I’d say 75% of cannabis businesses didn’t have e-commerce website. You still had to call and order over the phone or go into their physical stores in 2020
It took months for a lot of these business to catch up and even then, their logistics sucked and probably 30% still suck.
A lot of companies have a very narrow and really niche business. Look at bizzybee. How much equipment do you think they sell outside cannabis and hemp. Same with ETS.
It’s nice to have a very diverse customer portfolio. At this point, I’d say 65-75% of our business comes from outside cannabis. Might ask. Why stick around here? I love weed. Anyone that’s met me or knows me here knows weed is my favorite but I’ve seen this for 2 years now and have been diversifying for that time. We sell more fittings to Fortune 500 companies than we probably make in cannabis these days.
It’s just what it is. I feel like Dave portnoy cracking champagne bottles every time I see a competitor call it quits. Just know if you ever bought stainless from me. I’ll be around a long time if you ever need a warranty claim.
Think you are right on all accounts
Question do you think gmp cgmp gacp
Organic etc make sense in the cannabis
Industry ?
I am in Europe and think this is the only way to get credit for quality
Its all bullshit. I have yet to meet a single person outside of production that even knows what gmp is.
Treu yet it seems like the law makers I every damn country believe that gmp or eugmp is the only standard suited for
Medical cannabis
When looking at those that are moving large quantities at the moment on the German market are all gmp at least and eugmp most
