Ceramic vs Metal carts

Has ceramic been fully proven to be a better, safer, and cleaner alternative to metal cartridges? All I have seen on the studies so far is just industrial uses for it and them stapling the fact that it can withstand high heat without burning off fumes but none are vaping related or smoking related. All industrial kiln or oven use or something like that.
Vs with metal that has been researched long enough to my knowledge that we have done vaping effects. Same with glass.
This is mainly why I ask, and me and friend are in a debate about it. I don’t like full ceramic carts as rhey always leaked on me, I haven’t seen any full vaping research done on it before.

Not to my knowledge, that perspective comes from the fact that most ceramic carts do not leach metals into the oil, therefore providing a heavy metal free vapor. Are they altogether safer? Probably not, but maybe. I haven’t seen any data supporting that.

People switch to all ceramic cartridges mainly look for heavy metal free options.

I add mercury to mine! It adds to the entourage effect…

Eat it. Like the cart. Should be safe as long as it’s not combusting.

Edit: in all seriousness, just live a year in the past and have been tested for both safety (metals, etc) and have been purchased by the thousands and only have hardware failures less than 1 or 2%. Avoid plastics and glues near seals and the element.

Thanks for the feedback. Personally I prefer metal due to the research backing it and how long we’ve been using it for vaping, only time its bad is when bad metals are used, mercury, cadium, lead, arsenic, etc. if anyone has more metals to list I can correct it.
Ceramic is just too new for me.

For the full ceramic cart

Pros:more safe and healthy, the probability of heavy metals leach is near zero.

Cons:it is more difficult to conrol the manufacturing tolerance than metal carts because of the material,so it is easier to leakage than metals carts.

Now ,with the technology upgrade, the full ceramic carts is better than before.i think it is the trends .

Meh, some of them taste weird. All boils down to the quality of the manufacturers. Lots of the vape stuff is just another way to provide product to sell and hype up. Still same technology just diff designs. Majority of the vape manufacturers are coming from a nicotine juice backround. They STILL dont understand cannabis oil needs a lower vape temp…most batteries too high voltage too low ohhms b/c theyre aiming for high vapor production. IF the oil has terpenes LOW temp produces high vapor!!! But all ceramics can be bogus too.

metal coils heat up faster - go with ceramic

Any opinions on metal or ceramic cart brands or vendors? Doing a search here leads to rabbit holes that last for days without end

@QBD420 sells them

There’s alot of vendor posts. An intriguing one I saw was Blinc but there wasn’t much for follow up after the post or from people that got samples

There’s been a lot of talk from seasoned vapers who worry that the tiny ceramic particles (if reused) that can get inhaled are really bad for your lungs.

I reuse my metal ones. After first fill i refill, then toss

Ceramic is known to have a high level of resistance to heat. Hence, a ceramic coil will not damage under high temperature and it is extremely durable.
