Centrifuge w fritted filter

Honestly hell yeah. Bet those tasted fire that’s my goal here for some gas smoke I mainly smoke carts

I use cellulose gilzas. Cut a bootom from one, isert it all the way down your falcon, it will work as a support for a second one that goes on top.

They are quite cheap, a box of 20 for about 25euros and they can be reused many times.

How can I get one?

You might be interested in a cheap centrifuge like mine. I used a Lab Fish model. It cost $100 on eBay. I can separate 12 grams at a time, which is plenty for personal use. My goal is also just for personal use at this time. If you are interested in learning more about how I make personal use carts just let me know. I spent <$150 in supplies (not including the concentrates).

Fucking Chemland just changed the currency to euros lol. They cost 130zł not euros so it’s like 27euros.

How much can you fit in there?

Right around 28g depending on consistency

Quick tip…use the 10 micron filters instead of those silly .5um filters. Your fuge will thank you.

Do you know of any centrifuge that does larger amounts? I’m trying to produce 2k-4k grams per week for carts

Awesome idea man!

I have this bad larry at work here and want to start cranking it up. I mainly use it for CO2 terpene post-processing but want to move it to separations. I want to get buckets for it as I am doing kilos of diamonds/sauce and the little tubes aren’t feasible. Someone posted these:

Think those would be fine?

Not without further work…

Your rotor does not seem setup for 250ml bottles.

Those 250ml bottles don’t have a frit.

Both of those are solvable, but I imagine swinging 4x ~1liter would be less expensive and more satisfying

Well that was just the link I had on clipboard. They make those stainless up to 1L. My 'fuge has 1L adapter cups that work with the bigger mason jars if I wrap them in kimwipes. It can spin 4x1L np. The 1L bottles they supplied are nalgene and I wanted to get away from those completely before I start going ham.

I would have to worry about filtering but if the buckets from @Waxplug1 work in them, it should be gucci. I am using them already for sweating.

Can’t read your mind…

You got a part number on those Nalgene bottles? Or a diameter on your baskets? There is more than one way to make a liter…

What is the diameter on the Inserts you are using?

Sorry, didn’t mean it to come off like I was expecting you to read my mind. I just didn’t check the URL :frowning:

I was looking for the specs on the cups and bottles. Have to see if I still have the packing boxes, I believe I do. All it says on the Eppendorf site for these.

Which is why I asked for a part number on the BOTTLES.

Eg: Nalgene™ PPCO Centrifuge Bottles lists 98mm diameter x 174mm height

If those are what fit, will those stainless bottles?

…probably not without shaving your buckets. And @Waxplug1’s inserts won’t fit (too small I believe)

looks like it. The nalgenes are slightly smaller than the cups so the stainless should fit well I’d imagine.
