WVO = Waste Vegetable Oil?

As in who you purchased it from, rather than what it’s designed to do?

The biodiesel guys use centrifuges to clean their oil, but they use a totally different design. An oil clarifier does not take bags…

50kg is OEM max loading? !
Is that 30lb of cannabis?!?

Pictures would probably clear most of that up…

They really should advertise centrifuges with both mass and volume capacity

Correct, only used for hemp. 25-30lbs max capacity of hemp per run.

The motor for the centrifuge is UL listed

Kg is mass not volume

Sorry, 40L volume and 50kg capacity are what is posted on machine.

Is the machine automated ?

No automation just basic start and stop on control panel.

Thanks

thanks for adding the picture.
Makes figuring out what we’re discussing much easier.

ideally we need a couple more: how about one of the rotor & the bags?
(Leon doesn’t have those on his website).

I believe the rotor has a 3" lip on it, and the bags are open topped based on my time spent in WVO designs shop.

so no agitate or speed control?
Just on/off?

again, workable for some folks.

How many G’s are you getting out of it? (edit: 756G @ 1500rpm)

I don’t have anyone in need of this unit right now, however I believe I know how to run it effectively…I would be willing to work with the buyer.

There is a spin speed control with ten being the max of 1500rpm.
I will upload a picture of the bags, they are open top.
The bags being open top and the lip blocking easy loading are my two biggest problems with it.
I will also try and work out a grams per rpm. It hasn’t been used in six months so this may take a bit.

thank you!

As I said, I’m pretty sure I can teach the buyer how to use this thing efficiently.

the mesh inside is at what micron or are u using filter bags of XXX size.

How easy is it to open to put in biomass

are you running it at -35C biomass temperatures.

pretty sure this unit has sold.

most use bags.

I’d say putting the cannabis in the fuge is pretty easy.
I recommend a shop vac (preferably Atex rated) for biomass removal.

it’s more important that the solvent be cold.
I know folks who have run these at -70C successfully.

The need for a bag is to reduce junk to the filter.

hopefully 50 or 100 microns
holes seem too big.

great that it will handle -35C

what are the gismos on top and do you have pics of opening and closing process
