FYI all, Iāve had several requests for the same measurements.
Please be aware these measurements are in reference only to the machine. They are useful for comparing alignment data between manufacturers, but have not been visually calibrated. Standard deviation and average errors are useful as comparison tools only, and not as exact measurements.
To do exact measurements, I would have to calibrate the px/mm ratio and correct for lens distortions. While not that difficult (we do it on our sheet-metal QA platform), it really isnāt needed in our system so there are no current plans to develop.

I got to try some avd just recently, the 1ml was great, all the way to the end. It didnāt matter how I stored it, the holes always stayed covered and it was one of the better tasting carts Iād used. It was a resin chamber instead of glass which Iām not really a fan of. I canāt say the same for the .5ml as it clogged at the end and spit, most likely due to how much I had to use the heat function on my pen to get the oil to cover the 2mm holes so a lot of weak hits. I definitely will try more 1ml if they are made with glass.

Our pricing increased after the Heavy Metals concerns started coming out & newly applied Tariffs (25%). This caused us to change our raw materials and assembly processes. We have been inside many factories selling similar ālookingā products for as low as $.70 each and the difference is like comparing a couple of guys putting on a butane-induced Capān Cosmics Firework Show (Puyallup, WA in 2015) and a highly regulated state-licensed extraction laboratory that meets all codes for employee and customer safety; such as proper zoning, fire inspections and industry-certified equipment. Quality counts unfortunately costs more as well.
Based on the lack of regulations in China, we will never be the CHEAPEST, but we do strive to provide the best VALUE to partners seeking safety, quality and a flavor-enriched user experience.
In addition, we have been doing extensive testing of our products for extended periods of time (i.e., 30+ days, 60+ days, 120+ days). Our products have held up incredibly well with our current product offerings, using not just one but multiple CA testing facilities.
While many Chinese factories are able to avoid price increases by āunderstatingā the value of their products when coming thru customs, our brand and volume has increased dramatically, making it much more difficult for us to utilize the same cost saving strategies, in addition to us having insurance that covers any liability tied to our products.
Did we move to a new factory? Due to our rapid growth, we ran out of physical space to expand and our initial factory did NOT have the proper clean environment we desired to produce our products moving forward.
Today, we are one of the few, if not ONLY U.S.-OWNED factories in China that produces exclusively for the cannabis industry. We arenāt just simply a client or a trading company that is sourcing from a third-party factory or assembly shop. We ARE the factory. If you come to visit, you wonāt find other products or other brands. You will ONLY find AVD products, which means we deliver few product options, but with greater focus. The majority of factories that are now beginning to get into this same space are all e-cig factories that have been hurt due to decreasing vape sales and trying to pivot into cannabis (i.e., SMOK, First Union, Geek Vape, etc.) and have a cluttered hodge-podge of different materials, products and massive turnover in staffing.
We brought our original management and supply chain to our new location that is NOW ISO 9001, ISO 13485 (Medical Devices) and cGMP certified. We have recently had several MAJOR clients visit our new facilities, meet our management team and claim to have never seen such an impressive facility or management team in China. We are just about to launch customized packaging and jigs for seamless filling and capping, in partnership with the guys over at Thompson Duke. Several of their clients have switched to AVD.

I have used thousands of AVD carts and they are by far my favorite. Less failures than any. Perfect is not possible but these carts are damn close.
