Cgmp lab selling 92.7% cbg Isolate. 10kg available at this price $600. Contact heath@kancanna.com for coa
How did you make 92%? I would buy it all, but curious how your crystallization left you with 92% CBG.
I asked myself and botanacor labs the same thing. It’s ND on all other cannabinoids. Same sop on cbd crash yields 99%. I don’t think all labs calibrate as well on the minors. It’s good product I can send coa’s/pictures if you like.
The cbd dissolves in heptane, cbg does not.

MARTIN SMITH INC DBA KANCANNA CBG Isolate - T000130566 Potency (2).pdf (160.3 KB) Carto.grapher if youre assuming there is still cbd in the cbg can you help explain this coa… Or maybe offer some insight to what you were eluding to. Thx
CBG certainly does dissolve in heptane. We do “water clear” process CBG all the time. CBG looooves isomers, so probably minors that are contaminating that final product.
botanacor labs is the problem. Use a real lab.
What labs would you use for highest accuracy isolate testing?
Cannabusiness Labs in Lexington KY. Yes i’m from kentucky but honestly they were the most accurate i’ve seen. Used to use two other labs and they would give us ND on everything with CBD isolate having 98% and i thought it was odd. Went to Cannabusiness and their LOQ was lower and showed that we had trace amounts of CBDv and THC was popping up. COA_220601012_20220603091600-5.PDF (422.9 KB)
@kcalabs is by far the best.
There may be other materials in the isolate that are not cannabinoids detected by the HPLC.
We test isolates at 98% sometimes and have attributed the missing % to residual waxes, measurement uncertainty, and CBDV and THC.
A value of 99.9%+ is usually because the concentration pulled from the instrument is above 100%.
Could be a waxy material.
Or just lab error.
Even besides non detectable waxes, using conventional crystalization procedure, it is difficult to purify CBG above 98-99% chromatographic purity. There are always a bunch of unknowns.
