CBDV showing in Isolate COA

Recently got a COA on our isolate, and it is showing just above 1% CBDV. Can’t find much info on this forum about this cannabinoid. This came from hemp we grew, that was the Cherry Wine F1 from clone.

CBDV has the same structure as CBD with the exception of the pentyl group being a propyl group on the arene.

@anon93688 beat me to it

CBD with a 3 carbon “tail” instead of the standard 5 carbon.

Well, yea, I’ve read the wiki article on it. And having the same structure, it would have the same opposing charges to get caught in the CBD crystal lattice. However, is anyone else producing isolate with similar COAs, I haven’t seen much talk about it.

So should I charge extra for this isolate? :sunglasses:

presumably it’s the genetics of the plants you’re extracting.

THCV is sought after. I’ve not seen any clinical data on CBDV

YES!
