I’m working on the zinc bromide conversion today. Just gonna keep trying till I find out what’s the best route.
Next up is tiba.
This is really quite fun.

Tiba rules !!! Period
On dcm quenching with iso is useless on
Alkanes it makes sense
Make sure not to cross 72C for at that temp tiba starts to disintegrate many forget about the exotherm on heptane and don t realize

Zink bromide in conjunction with zink cloride
Is ok for 70% D9 yields
But aluminium cloride (anhydrous) works faster and cheaper for those numbers

Refluxed for 4 hours in zinc bromide, 4a beads, 99% cbd isolate and heptane. Loading hplc now

After refluxing for 4 hours it produced this

2nd run with 6 hour reflux produced this:

never used beads in BF before, but wouldnt that disrupt stir bar? how many beads are you using per kilo of CBD?

It can yes with regular stir bars, I’d recommend a rare earth magnet.

Boron works beter with magnesiumsulfate anhydrous or aluminiumoxide (neutral) in the flask

If it’s to use beads on boron I would charge at least 500 gr per kg of cbd at least I know it sounds ridicoulus but high amounts have worked best in the past
