CBD to 75% Δ9-THC with zeolite and baking soda

Prior to reaction, 1.5 g of Zeolite-Y ‘'’ form was suspended in 10 ml distilled water and 3 g of sodium bicarbonate was added. This mixture was stirred 1 hour, filtered and the zeolite washed 3 times with 10 ml distilled water and once with 10 ml ethanol. The zeolite was dried approximately 2 hours in a vacuum oven at 50° C. Suspending 100 mg of the zeolite in 5 ml distilled water gave a pH reading of 9.2. CBD (5.0 g) was combined with the treated catalyst (0.6 g) under vacuum. The mixture was warmed to 175° C. for 2 hours. The cannabinoid content of the product mixture consisted of 4.2% CBD, 13.4% Δ8-THC, and 73.9% Δ9-THC, with the remainder being minor cannabinoids.

anybody has experience with replicating this? or tips to achieve it in real life?
it interests me because it is much safer than using strong acids and flammable solvents.

I’m surprised that they use only 0.6g of zeolite for 5g cbd, when most other zeo methods online call for 1:1 ratio

For the maker maybe not for the consumer !!
As for non flammable dcm with alcl3

I think if you carefully remove the zeolite it’s fine for the consumer. Same with acids, you have to carefully neutralize them and leave no trace of solvent or it is dangerous for the consumer.
By the way, DCM " can form flammable vapor-air mixtures above ≈100 °C ;"

I see many people struggling to get to 70% with dcm + AlCl3, so why bother with these when I could just bother with zeolite.

30% if your zeolite reaction is unknown
Well to most it s unknown
Some of the compounds formed are aluminiumsilicate bound and some silicabound no bueno to smoke

anyone know about zeolites here? anyone ever replicated this 74% yield or got close to it with zeolite?
Any possible tips?

Go and find yourself a big bucket, and go out in the woods and find a deep deep well with water at the bottom, you want at least 15 meter from the ground down to the water, it is very important the water in the well is not too deep, about 1.7 meters is optimal.
You want a clay and high particular mater in the bottom, with lots of small crayfish , nymphs, if i am lucky there lives a robust population of leaches to, but hey you cant have everything but almost.
You thrn take your bucket for standing on, and jump feat first into the well.
For added redundancy have a friend put a heavy wooden lid on top, and you get some privacy aswell.
Have your friend make a perimeter with warning signs that there is an structurally unsafe well, and too ceep distance with refferal to the fact people can fall down in them.

I have heard stories about people surviving horribly long times in wells , eating the leaches of your body can keep you going for a month if there is possibility to sleep standing,
