Hi guys I am trying to make a CBD live resin disposable and I’m wondering if that is even possible. As I understand the resin would Cristalize and clog the vape pen. I want to make super flavourfull and premium disposable but a CBD one so looking for ways to do that. And don’t want to use distillate. Any ideas? For now thinking of using ccell rosin bar or the equivalent and CBD live resin heated up just enough to liquify. Because I don’t need to decarb it. Any ideas and thoughts?
Depending on the strain some will crystize out others wont and yes im talking about cbda crystallized out. Just mix it with some cbc and it will be fine.
What if I mix in a tad bit of h4cbd? Or non Cristalizing full spectrum CBD?
I wonder what amount of vaped CBD gets converted into D8?
Totally fine. I hear that h4cbd is harsh to vape so maybe the crd.
It’s really hard. I never see any real live rosin disposable in the market
Hi, this is Noah from bbtank. I think the the tron nova pro with new generation ceramic formula can help you. This product is made for live resin and rosin which has been tested by our clients. Feel free to contact me!
Is live resin much different taste from live rosin?
I don’t think you’ll get along well with any disposable vape pens if you don’t get the oil decarbed.
The burnt taste and hash & dry hit will ruin the vape experience all the way.
have you worked with CBD/CBDa in the past @Tiange?
In my experience decarbed CBD will often crystallize in the tank, which WILL lead to those dry and burnt hits . CBDa is far less likely to do so.
Interesting project. From what we’ve seen, keeping live rosin in a stable state for disposable applications is always a balance between preserving terpenes and controlling the material consistency.
One thing that often gets overlooked is the filtration step before filling. Fine filtration can help remove unwanted particles that may become nucleation points for crystallization, while still keeping the natural profile of the extract.
Curious if you’ve already tested different micron filtration levels? The mesh selection and flow rate can make a pretty noticeable difference with rosin-based products.
I get that filtration is your schtick, but OP is asking about live RESIN not rosin.
Have you actually seen filtration make a difference for BHO or CO2 => carts?
@cyclopath There is literally somebody on this forum asking to color correct RSO - the mind boggles!
