There seems to be some in most hemp. My wife x t1 cross has .17% cbc

Is your goal to extract it for CBC? The places producing natural CBC are just using chromatography since most hemp has a little CBC in it.
If you want to grow it to sell as high CBC flower then that is one thing but I’m not sure there’s even a demand for that.

That botanacor literally has % of every cannabinoid they tested for… fascinating.
3% CBCa is on the high end but nothing too uncommon for hemp or MJ. Dont pay too much of a premium for those seeds. And nobody can say those CBC numbers will be maintained in the offspring.
Solid advice
we are looking for names of strains we have heard about with about three percent+ cbc and nearly no thc at all

In some cases, it may likely only happen in outdoor crop and under specific weather circumstances.
Interesting, are you noticing more CBC under specific conditions? I have always seen a certain basal amount of CBC(a) every cannabis flower (CBD, THC, CBG strains) but never made any connection regarding environmental conditions. However I could def believe that seeing as cannabinoids are probably just fancy UV protection anyway.
Most indoor hemp that I see has 1% CBC, upwards to 2%. I do not know if this is because it’s growing indoors or because they’re using stabilized clones with better cannabinoid production in general.
I’ve noticed a couple labs always have weirdly high levels of CBGa or CBCa in flower samples
We had just over 3% cbc in our Special Sauce last year but this was after the thc had reached .8
