Cascade Oven Error

Hello future people

Having an issue with our cascade oven. Every time it gets up to its set temperature it errors out and starts flashing the below message. It then starts to ramp up 5 to 10° past what it was originally set to. The only way it goes away is from turning it off and letting it sit for a little bit but then it will randomly Do this again. Sometimes it works for a week sometimes a day sometimes an hour. Could a cold shop be causing this issue? or is it something to do with the PID controller? If anyone knows how to do a factory reset that would be great. are any information at all would be fantastic.

  1. Call Cascade. They are likely to give you much better info than this.
    It looks like someone messed with the ramping settings on the controller. This controller is pretty advanced and easy to misconfigure when settings are misunderstood. Depending on the workload of what you put in the oven, your ramping timing setting, and outside temperature, you might not hit the temp requirements as soon and you require It looks like an ‘Attn’ Attention letting you know something along those lines. There are various hi and low settings you can set on the ramp and it can get complicated quickly.

“attn” is alerting you to the problem

“Li.h1” message is the setting that needs adjustment
Li=Limit
h1=High

So you have to change the high limit setting either in
A. the menu - in which case call Cascade!
or…
B. the separate control that exists solely as an safety when surpassing set delta between SET temp and high temp - which is easy to set.

If this is all Greek just call Cascade lol :call_me_hand:
