I think something happened to them

Purchased from Cart.Farm.

These hit great, maybe my favorite dart when they work. My batch had 5/100 arrive broken. 10/100 leaked from the glass stem/ mouthpiece junction. So 15% failed on me. Long day of trouble shooting for 100 carts.

Put 100 of them on a heat pad upside down at 90f. Oil leaked out of 10 mouthpieces. I opened them up, cleaned out the center post and reassembled. Same leaks. Decarbed diamonds and sauce. My standard mix, only thing new is the hardware.

I really fucking love how they hit, I hope the kinks get worked out.

I got 5-6 fills out of mine but for as thick as I mix mine(solid at room temp)the ceramic carts I got from @qma work better for me. The all glass clog too easy and the oil starts creeping up the stem before its empty(1ml). They were more economical for me because the ceramics are 1x use. When these are gone gonna try the Wolks unless these change to screw on tops.

Sometimes the post office fumbles a little. If you could take a picture for us to send to the post office, we can send you replacements.

Before usage?

I experience something similar one day when I tried to decarb some resin in a cart.

How long were these carts on the heat pad for?

Was the coil fully threaded on before they were flipped?

How much material was in each cartridge?

Can you upload pictures either thru here or the email thread"?

Nvm, I see you already have been talking to Connor

The broken ones for sure could be post office. Those don’t bother me too much, no oil wasted.

The leakers: I did not use any of the units prior to leaks. This is immediately after filling. They never got above 90f. Screwed on tight. I may be guilty of overfilling, but the oil is 100% leaking from where the down stem connects to the mouth piece. I cleaned them out and tried again to check. Same terp/oil ratio we usually put in ccells. Fully decarbed rocks, with saucee.

The leakers are sitting upside down right now, and are almost 50% empty. So it’s for sure dripping out of the area where the downstem attaches.

If I had to guess: It seems like those 2 glass pieces are glued, and the glue failed.

The whole time I’ve been ripping the first one I filled. They rip. Super clean.

Still love your products & customer service, thanks again.

Edit: Thanks for refunding, I know I’ll be ordering again soon.

Ooooooohhhhhh I know what happened.

You had 15 post office breaks. When filled, the oil leaked through the other 10 brakes! Thats why it leaked through the mouthpiece!!! Mystery solved; connor and I were having quite a time trying to figure it out.

Im raising the price of shipping and running these thru medium boxes from now on. Saving 8 dollars aint worth the trouble the envelopes cause.

That is a relief. I love these things lol.

I didn’t expect you to refund the whole order. That’s a dope hookup dude.

The all glass cartridges from cart.farm are amazing. Rip clean and hard, my favorite. I would say points of improvement are in the glue attaching the stainless steel ring to the glass body and in the overhead space. Customer service is also amazing! Definitely grab some

I tried those before my current glass carts and they were complete ass. I still have to defend my products reputation from people posting them:

I recently sampled the o2s all glass. my biggest gripe with them is not being able to see the inlets. sometimes I get not great hits and I can’t help but think that if I could see the inlets I would’ve known to run a pre heat. they are also more of a pain to fill. really had to warm 'em up and crimp tf out of my needle. maybe just glass are all like that though. these were the first ones I tried out.

I am finding some carts do act funny but am finding sometimes the things I’m doing are causing them to do funny stuff. The volatility of the carts upsets me but lack of a better tech I will just have to make do.

If you’re filling hot then screwing on hot, pressure is going to build in the cart. If it’s already wicked it might start to push out the mouthpiece. This would happen upside down as well if they’ve already wicked. That would be a matter of pressure of being heated up coupled with viscosity and will slide down the middle stem out of the mouth piece.

You might find some carts won’t do this. I found some didn’t with thicker oils but also some didn’t because the rubber seals were poor, which means the interior didn’t pressurize. Side note, attempted to partially decarb while in a cart a few times - not the best method lol.

I have also found with some carts that if the pressure is released from them by opening up the top, that’s it for that cart. It will leak and leak until it’s all gone. No joke - happened with a disty cart I purchased.

Fill hot as you would, take your time, allow it to cool partially, then screw the top and stopper back on and let it wick. They’re so hit and miss, that’s the only thing i can say.

Try it and report back

@qma can back this up I’m sure.
Fill as cold as you can and cap as fast as you can.
This gets rid of 99% of problems.

I’ll try it. I have some shatter cooking up and some new Terps to try out. I’ll try as you mentioned but filling cold as possible, well that’s still fairly warm. My oils come out too thick I am finding they just won’t flow. I wouldn’t be able to pick it up with a syringe that way let alone pump it out.
