I understand that.

What job in the cannabis industry falls within these parameters? I am unaware of any and look forward to learning

It was an example to show how much better trained union workers are. Obviously a cannabis apprenticeship should only be 2 years

I watched 3 close friends go through it not only for building the raiders stadium in Vegas but for framing out here. As well as others that went just for working for higher pay in the pipeline here too.

Why is that, obvious, that it should only be 2 years? Whats your reasoning?

It only illustrates someone signed off on the paperwork. Doesn’t actually mean the person is more qualified than a non-union individual with similar experience.

Tou can test into the union if tou have 8000 hours work experience and 8f tou pass a written and practical test. This is if work is in high demand like in the case of the stadium or the pipeline otherwise the apprenticeship is 4 to 5 years.

4 years for extraction. 4 for cultivation 2 for budtending and other areas that dont require as much skill

Unions stop companies from exploiting their workers is the most important part. And they stay competitive by being better trained and work more effectively and produce a better product. That’s the summary

Not even a hard google search to show the “do no evil” aspects of unions not quite working out that way.

Nothing about a union contributes to this. Certifications can accomplish much the same, often with about as much credibility…

“Better trained” - debatable. Is a green nose fresh out the farm better trained learning the bad habits of a journeymen they learned from?

“Work more effectively” - nothing about hourly promotes working more effectively. Nothing about a union contributes to this that otherwise couldn’t exist without said union.

“Produce a better product” - debatable. See first point.

This argument is obviously not going anywhere you completely ignored all the points a made to back up my case it’s not worth REPEATING MYSELF

Your points are all easily refuted. You come across like an advertisement for unions. Like they’re some benevolent force of incorruptible good.

They are not.

I did not ignore your points. I deconstructed your argument nearly line by line to illustrate my reasoning. You offer no counter arguments?

This is what I am saying you are ignoring half of what I’m saying. I’m done babysitting.

You’re referencing a posting not in the context of this argument between you and I.

That being said, you admitting “Often they get corrupted” does not constitute “ignoring half of what you’re saying”.

If I missed something, please elaborate.

If this is as hard as you’re willing to work for something you believe in, well, I am disappointed.

Do you want to post meme videos all night or would you like to have a useful conversation?

I’m not interested in a meme-off on this discussion.

Truly, I’m sorry you’re not interested in taking the conversation seriously, it was interesting.
