What is the original extraction method?

Terps aren’t the same as water…all liquids aren’t the same weight…doesn’t work like that.

I’m sure that you get more in grams. My source changed to grams and explained…I’d get like 20% more in some cases.

*Edit

I’ve also noticed different amount of drops in ea cultivar & batch as well…back when it was in ml…

*Same dropper
X strain - 44 drops in 1ml
Y strain - 38 drops in 1 ml
Z strain - 40 drops in 1 ml

I’ll add a picture to better explain

How many drops of water in a ml ?
20
What’s the mass of water then ?

So mr smart
Yust a quick search they float

Terpenes are technically an oil… if they didn’t float it’d be a significant problem lol.

Plenty of oils that sink that s another story
But to claim that my statement terpenes float is inaccurate is foolish

Like so often the guy on the ground knows best
And in the case of terps they float

I’ve never gotten into the ā€œwaterā€ clear terps.

Should they even be water clear? What would cause the pigmentation?

Personally I like to refine the terpenes as little as possible. I’m actually not sure what molecules are contributing to the pigmentation of the complex. I would really like to able to see full analyses of these complex’s in the future. A full COA on a terpene complex that shows flavonoids and other contributing compounds.

I like the way you think.

 I’ve done exactly what your doing rn…so I’m just gonna golden rule it.

Your incorrect about the weight.

I never claimed to be smart. But Im far from dumb. (*Not implying your dumb.)

@Roguelab is spot on about terp density. They weigh less than water, so if ur getting ā€œ20ā€ terps, getting 20g of terps is more than getting 20ml of terps.

20ml terps is roughly 17g.
20g of terps is roughly 23.5ml.

Most cdts are in the 0.85-0.89g/ml range.

Reason you probably have the best flavor resembling the flower they where pulled from
I really hope folks will learn that full flavor is more than the terps and that some of them have colors
As for full panel coa I wouldrecomend laboratory s in France if your terps are thc free
They have more standards than the average
Definetly in the compounds that are NOT terpenes
@bolagirl what’s the name of the French lab?

Terps for sure aren’t THC free

Actually going to send a sample off this week to see how much THC actually contributes to the complex

There is a wide variety of hues I get with these ā€œfuller spectrumā€ terpene complexes. Along with different viscosities. With test comming back at no more than 35% terpenes detected I would be very intrigued to see what else contributes. There’s nothing like strain specific terpenes.

Then sending them off to the lab in France is not a good idea sorry

May I ask where this info is coming from? Can you show the source?

In my personal experience…all the 100% pure CDT I’ve been getting 1 gram is more than 1 ml.

Cannabis terps not replicas. (Excuse me if your advanced CDT guy or something idk)

But tomorrow I’ll fill up a 1ml vial and take a picture.

1ml terps I say it will weigh less than 1 gram.

I’m positive 1 gram weighs more than 1 ml of CDT. If some how it doesn’t I’m going crazy. Mandela effect .

That’s not 100% pure CDT then …more of a hte yes?

Technically pure CDT doesn’t have any cannabinoids present. Pure…

Not saying yours aren’t really good. But I’ve absolutely had pure CDT …(water clear) tasted exactly like the flowers it was extracted from.

Especially if your base oil is clean. After a 3 day cure…tates just like dabbing.

Which is consistent with a density of less that 1g per ml…think about it some more.

You even fucking state it yourself…
