IF I was privilege to know how much bud grows on his acre I could figure out %. But I don’t.

Just a guess…but O.E. let say 2k plants per acre…

Let’s say 1/2 plate ea plant. 10 boxes per acre. X 5 = 50 boxes or 5,000 lbs
2.24M grams of bud.

He said “200 Liters” or 200,000 grams (roughly)…
1,000 grams or 1k ml in one single Liter. x 200. Ok…so

No way any cannabis on the planet is putting out even close to 10% yield on terps. Highest I’ve ever heard was a high 4% almost 5% but nothing higher.

Maybe he’s growing 2x the amount I assumed per acre…that would make more sense. A high 4% yield.

*Edit …I also know that ml and grams aren’t exactly equal. You’d get more in grams

Your math is assuming dry weight. Multiply that biomass by 5 for fresh frozen weight with 80% water. Closer to a 1.7% yield of terps from fresh frozen

The expert I know tells me 2%-4% …BOTH

Not true, a good yield on fresh frozen is 3-7%. If 1.7% is terps, then the remaining 1.3-5.3% is cannabinoids.

I don’t have the yield of Terps by weight of material yet in front of me. I’ll have to dig up some numbers for ya, they smell great, incredible hulk is sold out. It was our first large commercial size extraction done in 2019 we have improved our methods and post processing in 2023.
