CA Butane Questions

SO 90% of the time i use straight propane but have the need to make shatter and wanted to grab some straight n-butane. On the BVV website , this is the product description that is copied and pasted at the bottom.
Apparently , CA passed this stupid fucking law to restrict sales of R600 to individuals without a state-granted permission slip. My question based on is this part:

"* Our product is clean, colorless, non-odorized and free of any hydrogen sulphide-based ethyl mercaptan odorants.

EcoGreen Industries products purchased by customers not holding a current CA license for extraction, are available with a proprietary food grade, oil-based odorant. The product has been independently tested and allows customers to maintain consistent and desired results. "

Does this mean this “proprietary food grade, oil-based odorant” can be distilled out similar to what we used to have to do with cans to get the mystery oil out?
Thanks
