Something that makes me feel like the gas people know what’s going on is because places with much stricter limitations to things like methanol aren’t seeing the gas issues. The PPM allowance in places like CA are much more forgiving and I think that’s why trace amounts are just now finally being found. Samples that were testing fine in CA are being sent to CO where it’s popping up in tests. And funny enough I haven’t heard of anyone in Colorado with this issue. It’s almost like they know what states are able to see it and what aren’t on testing which would be so savage.

After chatting with @moronnabis he had an excellent point. Due to DEA not crashing out at a molar ratio we are likely looking at a crystallization catalyst instead of true “salting out”.
