building systems with 1/2" tube and need some guidance please?

Im attempting to upgrade to all 1/2" tubing, and instrumentation fitiings on a couple of my systems. Will you with experience please help me figure how to do the math and such associated with this task? Ive realized now that ive bought all the tools (bender, straightener) that I bit off a pretty tough one here. I need to learn about things like tubing gain and stuff because im messing this up! Help!?

Bend your tubing long, cut it back to length. If you need to make a series of 90 degree bends at a fixed distance from each other, you can bend a test piece and measure the gain, it’s worth wasting the tube. Keep in mind different lots of tube will have different gains based on how hard they were formed I doubt very much that you will need that kind of precision though.

What kind of bender did you get and what wall thickness tube are you using?

Edit: just saw this was ten months ago lol, I hope it went well.
