Was distilling some gas. Finished. Pulled the coil out of the dry ice and placed into room temp water to put the remainding solvent into tank. Noticed the pressure stayed at basically zero psi. Weird. Whats that noise? Sploosh. The top of the guage shot out followed by all the glycerin spraying out and then butane. Sweet. Disconnected and took outside and dumped.
Has anybody had this happen?

So it sounds like you either had a block in the line or vaporized the liquid in the coil increasing the pressure very rapidly. I would run over to the corner store and play the lotto.
