This is why I prefer it to making anything that requires more effort

This and Pyrex pan baby dimes are my preferred methods for licensed large scale.

All the other stuff is for internet points

Tbh, with isobutane I donā€™t even whip it.

Pour into Pyrex, Let it crash overnight, scrape Into jars, put in oven at 85-90 for 2-3 days

This is what I do atleast.

Hit the dm and we can discuss?

So I feel like a pos asking this but should my vent port on my acuutemp be open and a hose out the window the whole time Iā€™m making sugar?

Always better to ask and be safe than assume and be dangerous!

You should have your vent port plumbed out the building! Also all vacuum pump outlets routed out the building as well!

Well should I have it open the whole time iā€™m making sugarā€¦ and what kind of tape is not conductive? electrical tape ? I donā€™t want a back draft to bring the vapors back in

Well all I got to work with is a window with a hole in the screen and a divot in the frame perfect enough to hold the hose going out of the windowā€¦ the vacuum oven is in a regular house outlet

i havent heard of acetone other than that was my first ever attempt at bho and high times mentioned it. It was pre internet and i used mexi schwag= eew

How do you make your shatter?

I think you can find an sop on here for shatter. if you have a closed loop you should do more research. In general its the same stuff= cold tane, tane is better for shatter, and then dont overheat in recovery, purge at low temps or how you do, i make cotton candy sometimes. make sure to use mole sieve or it wont shatter if the tane is moist.

Sorry thumps, I was asking HIM for a reason.
thanks for the advice though.

the advice i gave works, its a summary of greywolf who almost invented shatter. I think to keep it simple usually is the best way or else you over process and all that shit. Hash oil is just like olive oil, less processing is best. Shatter can be made even with alcohol and dewax but just run it super cold. If you are not getting shatter maybe its super fresh and terpy and then dont remove the terps, sell it as non shatter. maybe badder it up? The thread is funny= how to make what everyone is trying to stop making right now.

I canā€™t tell if this question is supposed to lead me to the answer of: then do it the same way you vent your shatter or not.

If you want me to be honest, I preheat my vacuum oven to 89.6F, afterwards I put my slab into the oven when Iā€™m done extracting. Then, I pull a vacuum to 28.9hg - 29.8hg and I wait 12 to 24 hours to do the first flip and then try to keep a consistent flip schedule which usually ends up being an hour or two too early or too late with the next flip but I take that into account and usually add on an extra 8 hours into the last day.

I used distilled whip-it from a tank. I donā€™t soak and I still have yet to invest in a tank scale so I have no idea how much my ratio of solvent to material is. I donā€™t bottom fill. I usually recover at 98f but I upped it to 105f the last two runs and itā€™s just better on my end. ā€¦ I donā€™t usually do sugar or diamonds or anything that you gotta grow in jars unless I feel confident enough because itā€™s anxiety producing on my end.

I extract outdoors.

There shouldnā€™t be enough vapor from your sugar jar or pan to worry about
