Hello all, i was hoping that the community can help push me. In the right direction because I don’t think I’m thinking about this correctly at all. Started off with some indoor cured material wanting to make vape carts. After extraction, I take the PAN, put it in the oven. Wait for curstalization to happen and separate the terpan layer from the crystalline. Then, meltdown, the crystalline portion. I think I let my terp jars sit too long because it started to get cloudy with fats and precipitate a little bit of THC. I’m hoping that this is not all lost and I can refine it down to some good looking terpens, and add it back to the finished oil for carts. I thought about hitting the terpion jar up to about 80 degrees and trying to pass it through a 1 micron candle filter. I know there’s more than one way to scan a cat. Just don’t want to keep on banging my head against this wall. Trying to figure it out 
If you want water clear terps, do a low temp, long path steam disty…
I have a 300mm liebig with air coming in at the top from an air pump as a pre-condenser for the high MW products… then I goto a graham condenser to either a water-oil seperator or a sep funnel.
Have a vacuum take-off adapter at the graham exit to the water-oil sep… if you smell terpenes in the room while doing the process your loosing them… either your condenser is too hot or your flow is too fast.
Recrystallize your terpene fraction
If you’re just trying to clarify the fraction push through the candle filter stack with positive pressure being manifolded in when ready to push.
Hey Cheeba, I was thinking the same thing. Just wondering how warm I should go to make the terpene layer mobile. I don’t want the fats to melt and push through. I like the idea of putting it in a small distillation unit and refining it that way. But I don’t have time for that right now. I have all the candle filters and straining buckets. Just haven’t used the 1 micron filter yet 
Honestly man you should take a small amount out of your terp fraction jar, run a long gentle and sealed decarb on it. Let it cool and just put that in a cart. See how that works first. If you have to heat your terpene fraction to get it to move and you haven’t added it back to the thc fraction yet your carts aren’t going to pull that well. Thats assuming im understanding what’s going on here correctly of course.
Do you have ability to push with regulated n2 or argon?
