Better flow to molecular sieve for recovery?

If I were to do this, and pipe the molecular sieve directly, wouldn’t it does up recovery time or is it too much a danger to corrupting the sieve?

I could still run a 3/8" line to the top of the sieve as normal for a bypass

Mole serves are more efficiently ran bottom to top flow as to push the gas through & not allow moisture to flow up through the column, keep that in mind during buildout

if it aint broke dont fix it. I really dont know if you can make it any better…and yeah goes bottom to top

Only way to fix it is get a bigger one IMO :man_shrugging:t3::wink:

I do the opposite for this reason, if the gas is entering the bottom at a really fast rate or you have large pressure swings it can cause the beads to move around and erode, this creates dust. the behavior is somewhat like a fluidized bed at that point. I find flow introduced from the top does not move the beads around to the same degree due to gravity settling.

@LTL_Extractors that’s the way to go, wide vapor path!
