It happens all the time on every marketplace. Have you seen Facebook marketplace. Lol. This is just business. That’s not personal. Why would that make something “wrong with me”.

For anyone reading who actually might want to purchase a short path with ss flange I can tell you that I would ALWAYS select @AlexSiegel, Summit or David over Lanphan for distillation gear. I tried to get Lanohan to make me a couple heads back before David started cloning them and they just couldn’t get it right.
I’ve received amazing customer service from all the above!..Lanphan (they make great cheap rotos and chillers that won’t break the bank and are easy to fix), Alex and Summit (innovators and reliable equipment manufacturers with wealth of knowledge and willingness to share it), Killa12345 (affordable ss with excellent service) and David (great glass blower).
Just don’t use Lanphan for short path heads or a closed loop and you’ll be fine. I’ve personally used the better flange by @AlexSiegel and loved the convenience of avoiding grease and twisting glass on glass joints. Gamechanger. But the mpd glass on glass clamps for Summit larger flasks and heads were extremely convenient too (just still made of glass)

I would also add that as a “clone connoisseur” of everything from spd glass to vacuum pumps to vape hardware and beyond I can recommend with full confidence to stear clear of the first several generations of clones of ANY item as they are working through the bugs and testing their beta models on you, the consumer.

A condenser at -10°C to -15°C (with good surface area) will collect the significant majority of terpenes , leaving the dry ice cold trap nearly dry (which means it maintains function as a pump trap). Of course this requires a recirculating chiller of some sort but it’s how I prefer to run.

It depends on vacuum levels but you are correct that condensing terpenes is not difficult
