Best Vaccum Sealer to seal food... GO!

Bought this off Amazon for 425 because of this thread.
Definitely nice I like the no nonsense sealing of the bag and the fatter seal

Doesn’t seem to suck harder than traditional sealers but definitely an upgrade

A good scam to run in Walmart is if your food saver breaks buy a new one and return the old broken one in the new box

Stock up on those vacuum seal bags. Price is up 150% from the last time I bought them…

Hit the pawn shops, best place for the unused “used”. They are like a corolla, you take care of the weston, the foam ring and it’ll go a few 100k miles

I am stocked on em always. But buying more

Anyone know of any 15” or 16” wide bags that are 5mil (or thicker) and are not 50 cents per foot

These are what I’m using now. They’re extremely nice but looking for cheaper

they are really good with warrenties. they all have a 5 year warranty! i got several brand new ones in the box because of sending in for repair and they replace it.

I love westin’s bags and rolls. Its really the only bags i use. The foodsaver big game sealer is a more industrial one meant for sealing a stupid amount of times in an hour. the store foodsavers arent really meant for back to back sealing of a lot of items.

Best practices:
Buy the premade bags so you have 3 factory seals, instead of the roll.
Buy a unit that seals 2 melted lines…then pull out a 1/2 inch and seal again= quadseal
