What would you say is the best solvent for winterizing oil? How would you rank ethanol, methanol, and acetone as solvents for winterization? Does it even matter which is used if you winterize at -80C? I’ve always used ethanol at -80, but after doing some stuff with acetone recently I’m wondering if it actually works better? Just wanted to check here before I do side by side experiments to see and maybe save my self some time.

I use methanol and find it pulls more stuff with less filtrations

The most common is a methanol and water mix.
So is 55% methonal 45% ethanol good for winterazation
What temps work best?
You’re counter acting the point of methanol if you do that
